Accelerate Southside is a two-part pilot program comprising of an immersive business accelerator training offered by The Guild (2019 Community Wealth Building Business Accelerator) + Accelerate Southside (Commercial Down Payment Assistance Program). Use the link below to vote online for the names that you believe are most fitting for the various components of the first phase of development at Pittsburgh Yards. We respectfully request that only individuals living in NPU-V (Pittsburgh, Adair Park, Mechanicsville, Capital Gateway, Summerhill, or Peoplestown) or Capital View Manor vote and that each individual only vote one time, either online or via the ballot box at Pittman Park in the recreation center. All votes must be submitted before 3pm on Monday, March 25, 2019.
This Request for Services (RFS) pertains to programming for the community greenspace at Pittsburgh Yards™. Interested parties are encouraged to review the RFS in detail and must use the form below to indicate their intent to respond to the RFS before March 1, 2019. Final proposals are due by midnight on April 15, 2019. The button below the form can be used to download the RFS document.
The information session will be held on Thursday, February 21 at 9:30am on site at Pittsburgh Yards (352 University Ave SW). For purposes of this RFS, please assume that the field will be available starting on November 1, 2019.
This RFP (Request for Proposals) was created to assist the Pittsburgh Yards™ development team in finding an operator to lease the 1,300+ square foot commercial kitchen. The kitchen can be used as an operator's primary production space as well as act as a "by the hour/day" rental kitchen space for community food entrepreneurs and local food-related businesses.
Community access and economic opportunity for local residents is a crucial aspect of the entire vision of Pittsburgh Yards. Finding an operator that will make it part of their business to not only grow and scale their company but also to take steps such as hiring locally and supporting the growth of other local companies is ideal for this opportunity.

The development team of Pittsburgh Yards has extended the submission date of the Pittsburgh Yards Communal Kitchen proposals to January 8th at 12 noon. It has come to our attention that there may have been confusion around the submission date, so to provide applicants more time to provide a complete proposal the submission date has been extended.
The proposal should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 12 noon on January 8, 2019. Please include the text "Proposal for PY Communal Kitchen" in the subject line of the email. No proposals will be accepted after 12 noon. A revised timeline will be posted on this website no later than January 9, 2019.
